2008 SPRING FLOWER SALE

INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

 

The annual Flower Sale is one or our most important fundraisers!  The proceeds support the Bellbrook music program and allow us, working together, to provide your band student with the high quality musical education and programming you enjoy as a band family.  Your participation is critical to the success of this event.  This is also one of the many opportunities you have to directly impact your own band expenses.  A portion of your sales go directly toward reducing your personal band and FLORIDA TRIP fees!  Please refer to the back of this letter for details.  

 

CONTENTS OF THIS PACKET

 

  1. Flower Order Form (short version on web site)
  2. Annual Flower Fact Sheet
  3. Band Fee Earnings (not on web site).  Seniors: Sale earnings can be applied towards your Senior Trip!

 

TIMELINE

 

  1. Now through March 26th – take flower orders.
    1. SELL!  SELL!  SELL!  Go door to door, call your friends and family, send emails.  Be sure to mention the Marching Eagles website (www.marching-eagles.org) for Flower Sale information (click on Fundraisers) and the Berns website (www.bernsgardencenter.com).
    2. Payment is collected at time of order – not at delivery!  Your assigned Block Captain will be contacting you for introductions, answer any questions and remind you of upcoming dates.
    3. Checks are payable to Bellbrook Music Boosters
  2. Thursday, March 27th – Turn in Completed Order Form!
    1. Be sure all information is correct and legible.  Total the amount of your order.  Put all money into one envelope, with your name on the front.  Be sure the order form total matches the total money in the envelope.  Your Block Captain will contact you to arrange pick up or delivery.
    2. Please write one check for all cash payments.
  3. Saturday, May 10th – Flower Delivery.  Pickup time is scheduled for 9:00am-12:00pm.  You are responsible for picking up your flowers during this time and delivering all flowers and gift cards sold on your order form.

REMEMBER!  Remind your customers that Mother’s day is Sunday, May 11th, and FLOWERS or GIFT CARDS make a wonderful gift.  Also, mention that Berns supplies us with beautiful, healthy, high quality plants.  Their gift cards can be used toward any purchase at Berns Garden Center in Middletown---excluding landscaping services---and they have a terrific selection of garden gifts!
