BELLBROOK MARCHING BAND INVITATIONAL

October 4, 2008 ~ Afternoon       The NEW Miami Valley South Stadium - Bellbrook Ohio

The Bellbrook Marching Eagles and their Music Boosters extend to your fine marching band an invitation to participate in the 20th annual Bellbrook High School Marching Band Invitational. The event is sanctioned by the Mid States Band Association (MSBA) and will be adjudicated by a judging panel from the Central States Judges Association.

A band may enter the event in Festival Class (taped evaluation only) or one of five (5) competitive classes according to your band's total number of wind and percussion members. Competitive classes are determined as follows:

Class A: 1-35 playing members Class AA: 36-64 playing members
Class AAA: 55-70 playing members Class AAAA: 71-100  playing members
Open Class: 101 or more playing members

Awards will be made as follows

Festival Class:
  • Participation Plaque
Competitive Classes:
  • 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Trophies in each class
  • Outstanding Visual Performance
  • Outstanding Musical Performance
  • Outstanding General Effect
  • Outstanding Auxiliary
  • Outstanding Percussion
Grand Champion (regardless of class):
  • Overall Grand Champion
  • Reserve Grand Champion
Location: The NEW Miami Valley South Stadium, behind the Bellbrook Jr. High School at 3491 Upper Bellbrook Road. Click here for a map.
Entry Fee: $100 payable to the Bellbrook Music Boosters to defray the cost of judges and tapes
Entry Deadline: Entries must be received by Friday, September 5, 2008. Performance time will be based on entry date. A maximum of 18 bands can be accomodated. Please reserve your spot as quickly as possible.
