PLACE:  Bellbrook High School, Bellbrook, Ohio

 

TIMES:    Percussion – 10:00am                  

     LINE UNITS & COLOR GUARDS – 12:30pm

TARP FOLDING:  You will need to fold your tarp for front to back setup and exit.  This is the horizontal rule for WGI. Entrance into the gym is from the front right side if you are facing the audience. Exit from the gym will be the back right side if you were facing the audience.

 

PROPS AND EQUIPMENT:  If you pull around the back side of school this is where you will unload your floor and props (look for signs). Please make sure you check in first at the unit entrance.

 

UNIT ENTRANCE TO BUILDING:  Located at the right side of the school (look for signs). All Staff and members will need to enter through this entrance. If you have attended a MEPA show already this year you have your staff passes already. If you have not attended a show you will receive your passes when you check in.

 

CONCESESSION TABLES:  Bring your own tables for set up.   You must

be participating in the show in order to set up a booth.

 

 

***ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING WITHIN THE SCHOOL BUILDING. THIS IS A STATE AND SCHOOL BOARD POLICY.   ANY GROUP CAUGHT SMOKING IN THE BUILDING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO COMPETE IN THE COMPETITION***

 

 

 

 

ADMISSIONS:  Each unit will be allowed 10 free admissions (If you attended a show already you should have received your staff passes when you checked in at that show. You will use these passes for every show you attend.)

 

Adults (age19 & over)- $6.00

Students (age 7 to 18)-prelims $5.00

Seniors (62 and up) - $4.00

6 and under Free

 

VIDEOS:  Video taping is not permitted at any MEPA show by any individuals other than video person provided by the Sponsor.   Please inform your parents about this rule.  Anyone caught video taping will have their tape confiscated and could cause disqualification for the unit they are affiliated with.

 

Bellbrook will provide a videographer to video tape your unit during their performance. You must provide your own video tape and turn it in when you check in your unit. Be sure to have the unit name on your tape and be sure it is set to where you what the recording to begin.

 

MUSIC:  When you check in you must also turn in your Music CD’s and/or music cassettes at the unit check in.  Make sure you have your units name on the CD and/or tape and the box.

CRITIQUE:  There will be a critique held for any Percussion unit attending this show. There will be NO critique for Line units or Color Guards due to the show ending late.
