New and exciting Calendar ad sales! Open to all band/guard students. The new calendar ad sheet is on the web site and included in this email. I am asking for only 5 ads from each student. If your really good at selling, sell more! If you only sell 2-3, that’s still great! The best part of this opportunity is, for every ad sold the student receives 20% of the ad price. Yes, every ad sold!

Here are some tips for selling ads:

Please have the student go to the businesses. They would be much happier to give their sponsorship to the students directly.
Please introduce yourself as a Bellbrook Music Student and smile! Make sure you have a pen!
At times it is easier to ask for a manager, most times managers are at the businesses during the day before 5:00pm.
Don’t be afraid to go to bigger stores. You never know, you may get a huge ad from this 5 minute visit.
Remeber these ads will most likely be guaranteed money for the following years in band. This is an opportunity to make a lot of money for less band fees.
You’ll find that this is a lot easier than it seems! It also will teach the students about business.
Please get the black and white ad or business card immediately, plus the money/check.
As soon as you have ads, black and white/ business card, form filled out completely and the money, drop it to my house. I don’t want you to be burdened by a particular day and time to drop them off. I will leave a drop box if I am not going to be at the house. 1704 Glenwood Way, (off Ltl. Sugarcreek Rd, the road by Dot’s market, go North to Glenwood, on left before stop sign @ Possum Run.) 848-3995.

New and exciting, Blitz Day! We will be announcing a day for all calendars to be sold. The band will be a cohesive unit to sell calendars. This is an upstanding organization which people appreciate having as part of the community. More information will be coming about Blitz Day in the future.
