Wind Ensemble

Currently meets 4th period and is directed by Chris Foster with assistance from Barb Siler. Emphasis on developing musical maturity appropriate to college and professional music literature.

Congratulations to the 2011 Wind Ensemble! In March, they received a Excellent Rating at the OMEA Large Group Contest.

Symphony Band

Currently meets 4th period and is directed by Barb Siler with assistance from Chris Foster. Emphasis on developing technical ability, characteristic tonality, and knowledge of phrasing.

Congratulations to the 2011 Symphony Band! In March, they received an Superior Rating at the OMEA Large Group Contest.

Jazz Band

Membership by audition in September with standard instrumentation. During the 2011-2012 school year will rehearse during Mentor Periods on Tuesday and Thursday. There are many performances throughout the year including the Spirited Affair in October, the Schuster Center Winter Wonderland in December, the Beavercreek Festival of Jazz in March, and the Annual Jazz Concert in May.

Pep Band

The pep band plays at all of the boys home basketball games, and all instrumentation is accepted.
