I'm not sure if any of you are aware, but Bands of America has decided
to do away with placements and scores for Grand National Finals except for 1st
place. There is a large student following that opposes this and we would very
much appreciate if as many of you as possible sign the petition and spread the
word. Save Grand National Finals!

Bellbook did a great job on their final competition~especially, since I
have a grandson, Sean and a "first" grandaughter Chelsea in band!
Chelsea is only in the 4th grade and did a super job at the competition! Good

I've been a fan of band music my entire life and the Marching Eagle band
displays every bit of that love that I possess in every single performance. If
their performance in Indy was any kind of hint on how the rest of the year is
going to go, then all I have to say to the other bands is good luck! I'll be a

Hey. I am a York Cougar Band member. I really appreciate everything the
band and Mr. Siler has done for us. Tyranny of The Clock was very successful
for us. All last year we watched the tape of you guys performing the show. We
weren't sure if we would perform it as well as you, but think we got it at
state last year. I hope one day our band gets to go to BOA and be as successful
as you are. This year we won the South Carolina 3AAA State Championship with
Stonhenge: A Symphonic Fantasy. We are looking forward to Mr. Siler writing us
some more music for next year's show. It has proven to be great each time. Keep

Just wanted to send a special thanks to the pit crew. Castle High School
was at BOA in St. Louis this last weekend. We were moving our props to the dome
at the time the storm started rolling in. We would have never made it into the
dome if your pit crew had not come to our rescue and help push into the dome.
